Sorry to all! It has been a while, and I promise you that Sheree and I will be posting new pictures and stuff for you all to see. Arya is getting so big; she is walking and running, can say her version of "Bye Bye," and knows how to call the animals over to her. She is growing up so big. So please, be patient with us as we try to acquire some time to do so.

For those of you who do not know, I have decided to join the Marines. I have gone up to the MEPS center in Portland already to take the ASVAB and to do my physical. Unfortunately, I was disqualified for my chronic migrains. On Thursday, I will be doing a waiver for the headaches. So it just delayed it for a little bit.

it has been a couple months and she has grown so much. Im happy to say we had a fun christmas and new year. It wasent as buzy as it has been the past couple of years, mostaly because we didnt have to do any travaling. we are still working on the house a little all the time there are only a couple boxes left the we need to hang pics and do stuf like that. Tylers hours were so buzy befor christmas that we realy didnt have the time. but he is home more now so i think things will start geting done again. well now that i have bataries in the camera there should be more updates, but im not promising anything because im such a procrastanator. we miss all of you up there in portland but were so happy we can stay in touch.

well it has been a while sence i last updatedd but Tyler and I have been really busy with the new house there was allot to get done befor we could move in . And now the hard part we have to move everything into the house. these pictures are mostly from befor we had done any work the only picks that are "after pics" are the blue living room pics i will get more up after we have moved in so you can see the whole house.

So other than the house i have some good news Tyler got promoted he is now th manager of fredmeyer fine jewelry in medford with is about 1/2 hr form grants pass, so he dose commute now but its worth it. thank you every one for your prayrs god has realy blessed us these last few months without him i know are lives would not be what the are today. talk to you soon bye

Some pics. with Grandpa at the hospital.

This week has been a hard week for my family. My dad went into the hospital on Sunday night at about 10pm because of pain and numbness in the right side of his body. the simmtams started at about 2 in the afternoon and he delt with them until he started shaking uncontrollably, that's when my mom took him to the emergency room. The doctors discovered he had a stroke. He is only 45 years old and has none of the risk signs for stroke no high blood pressure no high cloistral, and as you can see he is not over weight. The doctors don't know why he had the stroke but we are working to find out. My dad is home now and has an apt with another doctor tomorrow that is a specialist and can hopefully give my family some answers.

My dad is a strong man and he is keeping his spirits up he also has allot of family hear to help and encourage him when he needs it. But I do ask for your support in prayer. God is always listening and I ask you to ask him to help the doctors to find the answer to my dads condition. so that we can get him on the right path to recovery. No more milk for me

Well Arya has NOT been doing very well at night. She has had here days and nights mixed up for a long time and we could not seem to turn the around. We though mabye she was suffering from colic because she was really fussy and in allot of pain at the same time every night (that would be at about12:30-4:30 am). We tried everything to keep here happy at night the only thing that worked was giving her a bath, because it relaxed her muscles enough to make her feel a little better ( her tummy was hurting her), but we could not keep her in the bath the whole night so that only worked until she was out of the watter.
Then the good news came it was not colic it was because I was drinking milk with my dinner every night and she was getting that milk through me. The milk was upsetting her tummy. I have stopped drinking milk and eating any other dairy products and she is doing great. She had a really good night last night and slept through the night without any discomfort. I am so happy she is not hurting any more, and that Tyler and I are actually getting good night sleeps.

So I just got a phone call from my old manager from Fred Meyer Jewelers. There is an full time position opening at the Grants Pass Freddy's. I just got off the phone with the regional and he is going to have the manager here call me. I'll probably start working in the next week or so.

Reanna's Wedding

So on September 6th, 2008 Reanna and David were married. It was a beautiful wedding. Here are some pictures from the reception. I had a hold of Arya during the service and Sheree was a bridesmaid, so we weren't able to get any pictures. So, today was the big day. Sheree and I (with the help of our really good friends, Josh and Elaine) we were able to move back down to Grants Pass. Yesterday, (with the help of more really good friends--Ricky, Mylee, Peyton, and Meredith) we packed up the U-Haul, the truck, and the car to the max. I will be back up in Beav-town Sunday night through Thursday morning cleaning and getting the house ready so we can get our deposit back. So, if anyone needs to get a hold of me, I'll be able to get calls.

So, because of the move, I haven't been able to post for a while, and I have been getting a lot of slack for it by everyone. I'm sorry I packed the cords! Go figure. Well here are some pictures and I think one movie (I'm not sure). So sorry bout the wait.

Baby's Firsts!

So, since we have been home (that being since Tuesday), Arya had a few firsts.

1. First bath.

2. First time in crib.

3. First time sitting in her chair.

4. First nap with Mommy and Puck.
(Go figure)
5. First time in bassinet
(which my mother-in-law so perfectly grab from our neighbors across the street)
6. First nap in the Boppie!

So the theme of the "Firsts" as you can tell is sleeping!!! She has been doing a ton of that. Just last night, she slept for 5 hours! Sheree and I were happy to say in the least. But don't get me wrong, she likes crying too!

So today, Nick, Meredith, Ricky, Mylee, and Peyton all came by to visit Sheree, Arya, and me. It was real nice of them all to come, especially since they all come from so far. That's the problem with living in Beaverton. They had brought us pizza, which was awesome, and soda. Thank you guys for making the trip out to see us. We all really appreciate it soooo much.

After they had left, my boss and his wife, Mark and Debbie Taylor, came by for a visit. They brought with them a very "cute" outfit. Sheree really liked it.

I wanted to thank everyone for all their support. Everyone has gone above the call of duty in our time of need. To all our friends--Josh, Elaine, Nick, Meredith, Ricky, Mylee, Aaron, Amanda, Tim, Tony, Jesse--to all my peeps at FMJ--Ericka, Sarah, Dina, Trena, and Mark--thank you!

So Sheree is able to have solid food now! Because of the condition of the preclampsia Sheree had, she had to have a magnesium treatment, but that also means no solid foods--only clear liquids. It's her first solid food in 3 days, which is awesome! YEA!

So, alot has happened today. I have started a new blog for my family. We have received over 150 phone calls in the last 48 hours, and the most important thing of all is that our daughter, Arya Faye Mathews, was born at 4:57 am today (08-09-08) weighing in at 8 lbs and 9 oz and measuring in at 21 inches.
